POWERFUL DOCUMENTARY FILM ABOUT DR. MARTIN LUTHER KING JR. AND THE MARCH FROM MONTGOMERY TO MEMPHIS AND THE BEGINNINGS OF THE POOR PEOPLE’S MOVEMENT

TO BE SHOWN THURSDAY, JAN. 15TH , THE ACTUAL BIRTHDAY OF KING, ON THE CAMPUS OF UNIVERSITY OF SOUTH FLORIDA, ST. PETERSBURG @ ROOM DAVIS 130 AT 6PM, REFRESHMENTS WILL BE SERVED, A BRIEF SPEECH BY A PARTICIPANT IN THE ONE OF DR. KING’S MANY CAMPAIGNS AND THE SCLC IN THE 60’S. THIS EVENT IS FREE TO ALL STUDENTS AND OUTSIDE GUESTS, BUT A FREE WILL OFFERING WILL BE TAKEN TO BENEFIT THE POOR PEOPLE’S ECONOMIC HUMAN RIGHTS CAMPAIGN, FLORIDA CHAPTER. A PANEL Discussion will be featured as well with Rev. Charles Mckenzie of Florida Rainbow Push and others TBA.
